SatNav
We DO NOT recommend the sole use of a SatNav or automatic direction service such as Google maps for finding your way to Huntley Wood. This is because Coneygreaves Lane, which runs to our gate, has a tarmac surface to the west of our entrance only. To the east of our gates it is a rough dirt track which is ONLY passable by 4WD vehicles. Many SatNavs or similar attempt to bring visitors into Coneygreaves Lane from the east, where they find the road impassable and have to turn back, taking a substantial detour. If you are using Google Maps, please search for "Huntley Wood" (in Cheadle, Staffordshire) rather than our postcode, as this will find our front gate rather than the centre of the postcode, which is actually at a nearby farm. If you are using another SatNav the correct postcode to use is ST10 2NS, but we strongly recommend that you check the route your system provides against our our printer-friendly directions, available on the right, to ensure that you follow the best route to reach Huntley Wood. Also, please note that the centre of the postcode is at a nearby farm, so once you have turned into Coneygreaves Lane (signposted for Huntley Wood), do NOT take the left hand turn up the hill towards the farmhouse, but continue straight on until you reach our front gates.
